Allyson Black-Foley
Allyson Black-Foley, LICSW, is a psychotherapist at Amherst College and in private practice. Prior to her work in Massachusetts, she ran a counseling program at a K-8 school in North Philadelphia where she developed and implemented programs to support students facing the challenges of family incarceration, community violence, and structural racism. Her expertise extends to nonprofit development, community organizing, and delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services to marginalized communities. She received her Master’s degree from the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.
